Mid-Summer Coaches Update and Important Information

Summer Camp FOOTBALL SIGN UP info:

Dear Players and Parents,

The summer off-season is off to a great start! Players have been doing an absolutely fantastic job in their off-season work in the wt. room and on the field.

We just completed our first 4 days of workouts and I will tell you the effort, mentoring of new players and the overall attention to detail has been possibly the best it ever has been. These players know how to work and build a culture.

So many outstanding young men to give a shoutout to!

Please remind the players to communicate if they can not make a workout.

Any players from any sport are welcome to participate in workouts - you do not need experience to workout or play. Just show up and work hard! All are welcome.

News items below:

Les Schwab Bowl: Our four players (Jamo / Brennick / Luke and Ajani) who participated - played a great game. Even though the North team took a loss...the bonding and memories will last a lifetime. Thank you to Coach von Arx and Coach David K-W for helping out during the game. Our skill kids participated in the first 7-7 contest at Milwaukie HS. Players did a good job and it was fun to knock the rust off.

This next week (July 12th week)

We have 7-7 at Lakeridge HS on Monday and Wednesday evening 5:45-7:15ish...and a Varsity Passing Tournament at Heritage HS in Vancouver on Saturday July 17th - check in is at 8 a.m.

Also - The Metro Area Lineman challenge is on Saturday July 17th at Hare Field in Hillsboro. All lineman are encouraged to participate...T-shirts and food will be served!

We are looking for businesses to become Friends of Grant Football Boosters. Please give us leads!

If you know a business who would like to help our student-athletes...please let our Booster President - Karmen von Arx know. Advertising packages are available (especially on the Friends of Grant Sports Network featuring the "Voice of the Generals" - Kurt Borchardt) - and we are a nonprofit entity.
