Equipment pickup will be Saturday @10am with no practice (pictures will be on the 27th) on the turf behind the Covid Check-in and Bike Rack, outside the weight. Room. Please bring a bag of some type to carry your equipment and uniforms. We will have garbage bags to use just in case.

All Players will be required to have a Covid release form on file. You will need to fill it out and send it back (take a pic?) There was an email from Erin Cole that went out today, that contains the link and/or form. . Thank you!
Friends of Grant Football have ordered masks that have been made to velcro on the inside of the player’s helmet, beneath the plastic faceguard. It’s a newly invented item that will make it easier for players to breathe with mouth guards and be as safe as possible. May take 2 weeks to get here. You can see what they are in this video.
We are asking for donations for the masks from the families that can afford to pay for theirs or for other players that may not be able to. The cost, including shipping, is $10. Please go to this link to donate and in notes put Mask. Thanks so much.

We are sad to announce that PIL will not be allowing any spectators at games. Our District Athletic leaders have worked really hard to make this season happen. This is just one of those things that they couldn’t get approved. We are currently getting things ready to do a live stream if we can raise enough money, which has been a struggle during this time.
Friends of Grant Football will be rolling out our SnapRaise fundraiser to the friends and family’s emails that your family has supplied. We are hoping that will put us in a position to be able to do a live stream so families can watch their players. Please email us back by tomorrow if you would like your player to opt-out.
Otherwise, we assume everyone is on board (we had been waiting to make sure we had a season.)
We are expecting that all players will participate as this is the only fundraiser for the year, all funds raised go 100% to the football program. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR PLAYER HAS EVERYTHING IN BY 2/22 Tuesday. Only half have it done so far. Coaches will have to make calls to those that don’t have it done.
